The Crew!Wow, I cannot say enough about all of those who have helped out over the years, and continue to do so. Wow! I am truly blessed that I am not the only soul who believes in the Sacred Nudes Mission. I could not do it without you all, Thank You, Now and forever. We are changing the world one heart at a time and that, truly, makes the life worth living. I do the photography, printing, computercode and Kirsten does the cards. Everybody else chips in where and when they can from helping keep the Gallery and Darkroom clean to helping put the cards together. Finally going "out there" with our work (dream) is a big deal to us and we hope (pray) that you enjoy (buy) the cards and prints. We really believe in this and have put literally years and years and some really long days in and I am not even talking about learning to do databases and making the little video and learning to make the disks launch themselves.........WHEW! OK, enough whining! Enjoy folks and spread the word! Jason So, here are some pics:Kirsten and I and here's a cool one of just me:just me. OK, just this last weekend my friend Martine popped a few shots of Kirsten and I at a gathering in Jacksonville, Oregon. She really wanted me to include her shots in with this promo-disk and the shots are actually pretty good. FYI, I was riding my motorcyle that day which explains the bandana! Kirsten and I, Kirsten and I again! One more of just me. Enjoy! Now, I get asked all the time "Why no faces?" Well, first of all my work is not about the individual. It is more about the collective; women in general in all shapes, sizes and ages. Plus, let's not forget that many of the models who work with me choose to be annonamous for their own reasons, usually to protect themselves from cultural judement. I wish our society was not closed minded, but sometimes it is. We can change that but it takes time and, really, I can use all the help I can get. AND, by the way there are some faces in my work. Occasionally a model will work with me who believes that putting her face out there is part of the empowerment process. "This is me, worts and all. Deal with it!" This statement is usually followed by a word or two that the FCC would not like very much. Strange times we live in........... |
